About Organic Social Media

Why “organic”?
I chose that term because when I started blogging I didn’t care about readers and comments for the sake of numbers.
I wanted to have a conversation. I wanted the people who read my blog to be there because I was saying something that was interesting to them. I wanted them to comment if they felt inspired to engage in a real conversation.
I found that with a lot of bloggers who just focus on the numbers end up with trolls in their comment sections and spend tons of time managing the negative fall out.
I get trolls from time to time also, but having an organic approach to social media means I don’t get a lot of the madness.
I simply prefer a genuine and open approach to social media.
Now that it’s what I get paid to do, let’s see how things develop and what I have to say.
